Fernanda Jung Thomé’s Expertise I’m active in working for the growth of fashion towards sustainability. At the core of my work are product design & innovation, social impact and sustainability. Graduated in Fashion Design Technology at Senac-RS. I carry with me a transdisciplinary approach. I develop textiles inspired by nature and it’s cyclability. Since 2015 studying and experimenting textures, applications and interferences of bio-textiles from bacterial cellulose, textile waste and traditional weaving techniques. Working in partnership with brands and organizations I develop and coordinate projects to better design circular fashion and strengthen the work and skills of woman and low income communities through a sustainable textile chain. I‘m passionate about working in community, developing the social, economic and environmental positive impacts of fashion in local and global scale, using co-creation tools in a sustainable manner that complements, supports and encourages awareness of the socio-biodiversity.
